Successful 2-Day Workshop Empowers Local Organizations in Tamale North and South
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our 2-day workshop on Movement Building, Power Dynamics, Diversity, Civic Engagement, and Advocacy, held at the disability resource center under the HEARD Project. This impactful event brought together Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), youth groups, and women’s groups, all committed to driving positive change in their communities.
Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in dynamic discussions, interactive sessions, and practical exercises aimed at strengthening their organizational capacity and amplifying their voices in civic processes. The topics covered included building sustainable movements, understanding and navigating power dynamics, embracing diversity, and honing advocacy skills.
The energy and enthusiasm displayed by all attendees were truly inspiring. We saw meaningful connections being forged, and innovative ideas were shared that will undoubtedly shape the future of our communities.
A big thank you to all the participants, facilitators, and supporters who made this workshop a success. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient organizations that are equipped to lead the way in fostering civic engagement and advocating for the rights and needs to get the voices of women and youth heard in the Governance of Ghana.
Stay tuned for more updates on the HEARD Project.
