Ensuring Independent Communities

Hereafter-Ghana (My Hereafter Project) is a non-profit organization founded in the year 2013 with the goal of helping the poor and the needy sustain their livelihood irrespective of their caste, creed and status. The organization was officially registered with the Registrar Generals department in February 2018 and Licensed under the Non-Profit Organizations (NPO) in Ghana.

 Between 2013 and 2018, the organization was well known for its charity works which included, skills training, donation of food items and clothing’s to orphanages, prisons and rural communities. Within this period, the organization also fundraised to pay for the tuition bills of needy students.

The organization shaped its focus to some key areas of impact in 2018; equity in access to quality healthcare services, access to quality education, Social and behavioral change communication, SRHR and GBV, livelihood support for mothers and women, and Advocacy for peace and development. 

Children, women, the youth, orphans and the disabled are targeted beneficiaries of our work. From 2018 till date, the organization has locally mobilized over $90,000 worth of cash and resources to support over 4000 children, pregnant women and the aged to have a national health insurance card each, and granted over 10,000 people in rural communities access to free mobile clinic services. Grants financial assistance to needy patients to cater for their medications, surgeries, hospital bills and post-surgery care; this initiative has so far supported 102 patients as at August 2023. The organization has also supported 15 needy women as at August 2023 with capital to start a mini business which proceeds will be used to support the education and health of their children. Visiting over 20 junior and senior high schools across Ghana to facilitate education sessions on topics including SRHR, life skills and nutrition education. 

The organization has relied heavily on local resources in championing its programs. Membership of the organization are Volunteers with diverse specialties including certified health workers and volunteers across Ghana. This broad and diverse membership brings together a wide array of expertise in championing the organizational objectives and a vast diversity of experiences and approaches for realizing a lasting impact.

Health Outreach in deprived Communities

We reach out to communities that do not have health facilities close to them

One child, One health Insurance Project

The “One Child, One Health Insurance Project” make sure every child gets an Insurance card to seek free basic healthcare services nationwide.

The Kaya Care Project

This project will provide an enabling environment for Kayaye's (Young Female Head porters) to explore alternatives, learn a skill and make life changing decisions.
