We met this Pregnant lady on the way, she had walked Mile’s and still had miles ahead of her before reaching home, due to the nature of the communities, if you do not have a bicycle of your own, then walking is the only option available.
We stopped by and gave her one of the food items we were going to share.
She was very happy and prayed for all who donated.
Funny enough something happened before we met her, we met another woman who was equally walking miles to the farm, we stopped to give her a package but she refused, she asked us “what did I do for you to deserve this?” We explained it was just charity and we believe she deserved to have a share. She wouldn’t take it even with our persistence, so we had to go back with our donation.
These people hardly get someone to come to them with such gestures so it was very abnormal for them to see us come through like this for them. Even though we were sad the woman did not pick the donations, we believe her provision will find her wherever she is. In shaa Allah.
We wish to go on a second Trip if we are able to raise enough resources.
